Leased Lines

Fibre Leased Lines provide a dedicated connection from your office to the local exchange. Leased Lines can be used either as a Point-to-Point (P2P) service to connect multiple sites together in a private Wide Area Network (WAN) or as a direct internet access facility or as a Point-to-Point (P2P) service to link multiple sites together in a private Wide Area Network (WAN).

The advantage of Ethernet as your direct internet access solution is a high speed uncontended connection, which delivers between 10Mb and 1GB in guaranteed bandwidth. Leased lines give businesses the peace of mind that there will be no disruption to their service through Fibrenex’s comprehensive Service Level Agreement (SLA) which provides up to 99.9% up time. Moreover, Fibrenex can also provide back-up options to Leased Line services, sourcing your business with that extra protection. Many of our customers adopt a simple Fibrenex DSL (broadband) connection as a failover which means that in case of an interruption to the core leased line provision; the broadband would take over to warrant that your business always remains online.

MPLS

Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a high performing, resilient, private network, which prioritises your most important traffic – standard data, video, mission critical or voice in order of preference.

Your network can grow with your business with sites being added at any point in time. Starting with a basic broadband, up to gigabit connectivity, circuits can also be upgraded as your business needs them. MPLS increases uptime as it lessens the amount of manual intervention required to create a WAN, also reducing the chance of human error bringing down your network.

EFM

Ethernet First Mile (EFM) is a devoted leased line facility, providing uncontended speeds of up to 20Mb/s, either for direct internet access or as part of an MPLS private networking solution. The service is recognised as Ethernet First Mile because the first mile of cabling behind the exchange is fibre, while the remaining part of the data journey takes place over copper.

EFM is a cost-effective way to advance to a high-capacity connection without committing to full fibre Ethernet. You can enhance your business connectivity with high speeds and benefit from in-built resilience.
